These terms apply when you use this website or submit a request through it.

What we do — and what we don’t

Inflection Point LLC, an Oregon limited liability company, is a matching service. We introduce homeowners to independent contractors in our partner network. We are not a roofing, restoration or general contractor, we do not perform inspections or repairs, and we are not a party to any agreement you enter into with a contractor.

Any work is performed by the contractor under their own contract, licence and insurance. Pricing, scheduling, workmanship, warranties and disputes about the work are between you and them.

No insurance advice

We do not advise on insurance claims, adjust claims, or act on your behalf with any insurer. If a contractor offers to handle your claim, that is their offer, not ours, and public adjusting is regulated in most states.

Vetting is a check, not a guarantee

Before a contractor joins the network we verify the contractor licence required in their state and trade, confirm general liability and workers’ compensation coverage, and review public reputation and complaint records. That is a screening process, not a warranty of the work performed. We do not guarantee any outcome, price or timeline, and we recommend you confirm licence and insurance directly before work begins.

Contact consent

If you check the consent box on our form, you agree that Inflection Point and its vetted partner pros may contact you by phone call, text message and email about your inspection request, including with automated technology. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP, using an unsubscribe link, or emailing privacy@inflectionpoint.one.

Your information

You agree the information you submit is accurate and that the property is yours, or that you are authorised to request an inspection for it. Our handling of your information is described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Don’t submit false information, submit someone else’s details without their permission, scrape the site, or interfere with its operation.

Disclaimers and limits

The site and the matching service are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability arising out of the service is limited to $100. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms; the “last updated” date will change when we do.
